This is my 30th year teaching, having spent my career at Boles ISD. I have taught Pre-K- 2nd grade and have been in the position of ARI and ESL Coordinator for 9 years now.
I am married, and we live on my grandparents’ homestead that is still being farmed by my brother and nephews. My husband ranches in Pecan Gap, Texas. We have 4 adult kids(2 of whom went to and graduated from Boles), a few dogs and cats, two horses and the occasional baby-bottle calves. I attend the church of Christ.
I love teaching, but I also enjoy my time off. You can find me sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and a good book, walking with my dogs, or trying out a new recipe. I also enjoy traveling to new places (and a few old familiar ones). My favorite past time has always been riding horses, and I am just getting started in the world of versatility ranch horse competition and sorting.
